Mining fundamentals
Hashrate explained
Hashrate measures how many calculations mining hardware can attempt each second. Hashdeck represents it in terahashes per second (TH/s).
What TH/s represents
One terahash equals one trillion hashing attempts per second. In the simulation, a larger TH/s allocation represents a greater modeled share of network work.
How Hashdeck uses it
Each mining profile has a base hashrate. Configuring more power scales both its capacity cost and estimated daily output proportionally.
What the model excludes
The platform does not submit real hashes, connect to a mining pool, or claim any actual share of Bitcoin network rewards.
Educational information and estimates only. Actual mining performance can vary with market and network conditions.
